Friday 14th May sees the regional premiere of ODDSAC, a new ‘visual album’ from Animal Collective, which is the result of 4 years worth of collaboration between the band and filmmaker Danny Perez. The hour-long spectacle was premiered back in January at the Sundance Film Festival and should provide thrilling viewing.

Animal Collective are at the very top of their game, with their last album Merriweather Post Pavilion being lauded by critics across the globe, and this feature film offers something unique that will add a special element to the bands already impressive body of work.

It’s a project which sees Animal Collective enter new territory, setting their imaginative music to psychedelic imagery, and it includes new and unreleased material from the band – sure to be an absolute treat for fans of theirs.

Danny Perez and the band will also be present for a Q&A session afterwards.

There are two screenings at the Mint Lounge, at 6pm and 8pm. Tickets are £8 and are available from http://www.ticketline.co.uk
